Showcase Event

The Sevenoaks Sport & Wellbeing Showcase Event sponsored by Better Body Group and supported by Savills (Sevenoaks) and Active Kent, will be held in the grounds of Knole Academy on Sunday 26th June from 12.00 noon to 4.00pm. The Showcase Event will provide an exciting opportunity for members of the public to meet and greet with their local sports, fitness and wellbeing clubs groups and businesses from across the Sevenoaks District in a fun-filled family event! With a summer fair feel the event will be packed full of demonstrations and skills sessions from a variety of different sport and wellbeing clubs and groups to watch and take part in. There will be a number of mouth watering food and drink vendors including ice cream, pizza, vegan food and even a double decker bus bar to enjoy a Pimms or two! There will be inflatable fun provided by Birdy’s Inflatables, including a gladiator duel! We are also delighted to say that joining us at the event will be the NHS Health Check Team who will be offering FREE NHS Health Checks to anyone aged 40-74, just pop along to their stand on the day. We will also be joined by the Sevenoaks CPR Charity who will be offering FREE CPR and Defib demos throughout the afternoon, we are so grateful to the Charity for coming along and giving demonstrations to everyone, which could one day prove invaluable. At 3pm the event will play host to an exciting exhibition match of women’s football on the 3G pitch featuring local champions Sevenoaks Town Ladies and Castle Colts Ladies. So make sure to bring down your future Lionesses! The event is completely free to enter, with free parking and everyone is welcome! Bat & Ball railway station is also within a 10 minute walk and Sevenoaks railway station is a 15-20 minutes walk.
