Penshurst Church

The historic Church of St John the Baptist stands in the south west corner of the parkland belonging to the grand fortified manor house, Penshurst Place. Sections of this distinctive church can be traced to almost each century between the 12th and 19th. Famous architects, artists and the Civil War have left their mark. It is also a functioning Anglican church and community venue.
